Non-interactive script for repackaging latest filebeat arm64 .deb files for 32 bit Raspbian.
Requires core-utils with (some) POSIX compliance, dpkg, md5sum, wget, curl, git. Tested with Ubuntu 20.10 and Debian 10.
Script will also download and extract the latest golang release under INSTALL_DIR 
and use it's binary for compiling, rather than using any potentially existing global go installation.
Everything is placed in ~/Downloads/filebeat_armhf.
This *should* continue to function as long as download links for golang and filebeat don't change.

Was getting errors with pipefail and args

1. pipefail

filebeat_armhf.sh: 9: set: Illegal option -o pipefail

Changed set -Eeuo pipefail to set -Eeu pipefail

2. args
   Commented out the entire parse_params call and function

Thanks for your code! I'm sure there's a more elegant solution, and I'll purpose a change if I've got time to get back to this.

Hi @michaelschem, thanks for checking it out. The errors are weird, what's your environment? It's working fine on my end (Xubuntu 21.10 / Debian 11) with bash. But yeah, it's still pretty hacky.

One note is that

 GOARCH=arm $GO_BINARY build

is different than how filebeat's intended to be built, so there may be some unexpected differences. For example, I wasn't able to use journald as an input.

to solve this I built filebeat manually and just copied that instead of building it as part of this script.
