[Okta] Sora configuration guide

Prerequisites

Talk to your customer service representative to ensure your company's domain has been added to the Sora platform and is available for sign in.

Supported Features

The Okta/Sora integration currently supports the following features:

  • SP-initiated SSO

Configuration steps

  1. Install the Sora application in your Okta instance
  2. In the Okta admin page, navigate to the "Sign On" tab in the Sora application
  3. Copy the value of Client ID
  4. Find the link titled "OpenID Provider Metadata". Click the link and look for the value of the "issuer" key
  5. Send your Client ID, Issuer URL, and Okta domain (the URL you log in at) to your Sora customer service representation.

SP-Initiated SSO

There are two ways to authenticate with Sora.

First:

  1. Go to https://app.sora.co/login
  2. Click "Log in with Okta"

Second:

  1. Log in to your Okta account
  2. Click on the Sora app to navigate to Sora
  3. Click Log in with Okta to authenticate using Okta
