What is the value of a checklist?

A checklist is valuable for organization. It is a tool to prioritize, ennumerate, and visibly display tasks for completion. One can have sub-categories or tasks under each main task. Dates or other details can be added to facilitate a speedy and full completion. Additionally, it can serve as a psychological motivator, as checking off tasks feels good. Checklists rock, and they help keep a person focused, motivated, and successful.

What do you plan to improve upon while at Turing?

I want to improve my skill set, confidence, and social networking. I read a lot of reviews about Turing, and I decided to apply because people praised Turing for these reasons. I plan to deepen my understanding of software development to create websites or software for medical use. My boyfriend's diabetes affirmed the need for dependable technology. I have a background in liberal arts, but I want a real skill to build a career upon. I imagine I would be confident in both my skills and in my future by participating in Turing. I also cannot wait to meet more people! I moved to Colorado and don't know many people. I am so excited!
