Qualities For The Next Hire

We're hiring a project lead on LessFilms. This person's responsiblities include lead generation, sales, some project management and some company/travel organization.

Lead Generation

  • Be able to spot possible clients
  • Sending 10-20 cold soliciation emails per day.
  • Find the proper contact's email address.
  • Write a custom email, test email, iterate on the email content to improve reply %.

Marketing

  • Work with Allan to come up with ideas for marketing.
  • Execute ideas, may include on site marketing promotions at events.
  • Execute ideas, may include monitoring banner ads conversions and costs.
  • Guest blog, work with Allan and writers to come up with topics and articles for our blog and pitch ideas to other bloggers for us to guest blog on their websites.

Sales

  • Be able to spot possible places in someone's marketing website to put videos to help conversions.
  • Be able to spot possible places in someone's customer support docs to put videos to help their customers.
  • Pitch ideas, come up with ideas, work with Eric & Allan to come up with video ideas for clients.

Misc

  • Hiring: finding freelancers to supplement help us during peak workloads.
  • Project Management: get contracts signed, help Eric has needed with project/client management
  • Accounting: track a budget, send Steve and I the monthly P&L, follow up on unpaid invoices.
