Tik Tok Memes
TikTok Memes are always changing and evolving. As a result, having to keep up with the latest designs on the app may be aggravating. On TikTok, it's been a wild year full of social trends, events, and viral videos that will leave your mind spinning.
The TikTok app, which Gen Z grew up with, is now a significant cultural force, propelling performers like Charli D'Amelio and Addison Rae to celebrity status and propelling music like Doja Cat's "Say so" to Billboard chart success.
There will never be an end to memes. The most popular format on the web is undoubtedly meme-style videos and text-based likable content, which isn't going away anytime soon.
Vine used to be the obnoxious social networking platform of choice for people who wanted to share short-form video clips of jokes, memes, amusing scenarios, magic tricks, optical illusions, or whatever viral rubbish was trending at the moment. After that, Vine faded away, and everyone began to rely on Snapchat and Instagram's video features.
But, for whatever reason, people grew tired of it, and TikTok, a new popular social phenomenon, arose.
TikTok Memes For 2021
Sure, there are memes about how dumb TikTok is, how it stinks, and how irritating some users are, but the same can be said of swarms of Twitter users who stan horrible musicians, or Instagram "influencers" who attack pseudo-philosophical ramblings with images of their butts and abs.
While TikTok's obnoxious advertising campaigns and branding are enough to make you want to sit on your porch and yell "GET OFF MY LAWN!" for anyone under the age of 22, there are some genuine treasures on the platform that you shouldn't overlook. Here are a few absolute standouts I've discovered.
Pfizer is pouring out. We're in a cheery mood. After a rough summer, the weather is now cooling down, and things are looking up. Dare we say, hopeful? The TikTok memes are equally as plentiful. We've mastered the art of changing a bad circumstance into a good one after a year of practice—a trauma residency if you will. (See, for example, the Suez Canal meme.) We've discovered happiness in unexpected places. (See Lil Nas X's descent into hell.) And Oprah—Oprah!—has resumed her interviewing. This is Meme Paradise. And we've taken notice, making these pop culture moments internet classics.
Even the solemn moments of President Joe Biden's inauguration have provided fodder for the internet. If the finest memes from 2020 represented our growing alienation from reality, 2021 is all about what occurs when we've completely lost our minds. Sandra-Bullock-in-Gravity-style.
Conclusion:
We, the internet's trolls, know how to take a single incident and magnify it to the point of absurdity. Then we keep beating that dead horse until all that's left is a single bottle of Elmer's glue and a few stray mane strands. We're ruthless. We're lightning fast. We are meme creators.
That's only the first few Tik Tok memes from 2021. Keep an eye on this page as we add to this post throughout the year. Sitting Bernie will not be the last meme we see, but it will be difficult to dethrone it as the finest. The bar is set quite high. The Wellman is on his way. And if you need a pick-me-up, go ahead and enjoy the finest memes from last year.
