This randomly alters my terminal font weight and color until I close the terminal. I don't guess that one can submit PRs to a Gist, but I'll let you know if I get around to troubleshooting it.

@seemikehack odd, perhaps those Unicode characters somehow triggered that? You might want to check with your terminal emulator. It didn't happen to me with urxvt. And if it is really a bug in rain.sh and you does find a solution, we can either pull from your Gist fork or I move this onto GitHub so you can create a PR.
