This is a simple Bash script wrapping around LongURL API.
lu.sh <URL>
The script will check the domain to see if they are known to LongURL, you can use -C
option to skip the checking if the regular expression pattern in script is outdated.
You can also use -l
to list known services returned via API.
The following JSON output is directly from API, using jq:
$ lu.sh http://is.gd/google
{
"title": "http://www.google.com/",
"all-redirects": [
"http://google.com",
"http://www.google.com/"
],
"long-url": "http://www.google.com/"
}
- cURL
- (optional) jq for pretty printing the output.
