After spending 15 years in the oil industry and drilling countless dry holes, Sam discovered Bell Creek Field in Montana in 1967. With an estimated 240 million barrels of oil, Bell Creek was the 84th largest oil field in the country at the time and is still recognized as one of the major onshore oil discoveries.</p><p>At Bell Creek, Sam created the town of Belle Creek, which is still in existence today and serves as a home for the field's oil workers.</p>"
