Dear Processing Community,

I can't believe November is halfway done and we're fast approaching 2019. At Processing Foundation, we have been extremely busy planning and organizing #PCD2019 as well as taking on ambitious projects for the new year and beyond. One major development is creating the Education Community Director role for the organization. This individual will lead our latest initiative, Processing Node Cities, which will be focused on building local digital art communities and increasing the interest in coding as a tool for art production. Are you passionate about building community, creative coding, and developing educational resources? Please consider applying! Submissions are due November 16, 2018 11:59 PM PST. Click here to learn more about the Education Community Director position!

Another exciting announcement, we are happy to announce the call for our 2019 Processing Fellowships! Please read through the guidelines and consider applying. The deadline is December 19, 2018 11:59 PM PST.

Lastly, but extremely important, we would appreciate your thoughts and feedback regarding what the Processing Foundation is doing well and things you would like to see us do for the future. What would you like to see happen in the open source software for the arts community? How would you like to see the community best served? As we prepare for a new year, we want to pay close attention to what you feel needs to improved and what we can create together. Please access the Processing Community Survey here.
