Bi-Weekly Web Meeting - README

The web team holds bi-weekly meetings which provide the status and progress of web development. The meetings are a combination of a new website feature demonstration, developer code review and discussion of overall website architecture, and a discussion of upcoming priorities for web development.

The agenda of this meeting will be fluid. And will be determined by each of the developers independently (or in concert with other developers as necessary). Developers are responsible for adding/explaining their own agenda items at least 2 days prior to the next scheduled meeting. The agenda items can be added to this page as they become available. Possible items are: a new feature that needs to be demo'd for the business and other developers, code that should/could be reviewed by the development team for education or feedback, proposals for new development or refactorings that the developer would like the team to consider.

For each agenda item the developer should identify interested parties that should be included in the meeting by listing them along side the agenda item. These identified parties will be included in the meeting invitation along with the development team and the CIO.

Each meeting will be divided into roughly two sections. The first will be devoted to features that are relevant to invited business representatives. Any demonstrations or conversations related to these features will be addressed in turn during this section. After a short break, the second section will be devoted to more technical aspects of current web development. All invited guests are welcome to stay for these discussions, but the focus will be on the technical details of the Merchants' web application.
