At Recurly, I had the opportunity to be a part of the acquisition and retention squads. As a back-end web developer, my primary responsibility was working on the external subscriptions API, including both the V2 and V3 versions. This involved integrating the API with external partners. In addition to my responsibilities as a back-end, I had the opportunity to work on the implementation of the entitlements feature. Furthermore, I made significant contributions to a project that focused on reducing involuntary churn.
My work there as back-end web developer was mainly integrating partners through our Youse API and also I took part in the member get member reward program. In those projects I was responsible for creating new features, investigating bugs, launch new rewards campaigns, and also but not least do some maintenance. My everyday technologies employed were Ruby on Rails, RSpec, Git, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ and Redis.
