How to Fix Vagrant Up Error Error while adding new interface: failed to open /dev/vboxnetctl: No such file or directory In my case this error happens when I changed my RAM. Why? No idea :S

There was an error while executing `VBoxManage`, a CLI used by Vagrant
for controlling VirtualBox. The command and stderr is shown below.

To fix this error you need to change your Vagrantfile, uncomment the vb.gui to set as true.
Then vagrant up.

When ask for user/pass use vagrant/vagrant
Then use sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart
Shutdown: sudo shutdown -h now
Comment vb.gui to use vagrant as headless mode again.
