Lucy's Open Source Contribution Proposal

Option 1: Pivotal Tracker Gem

Pros:

  1. I can make a significant code contribution
  2. I know the main contributer
  3. High likelihood of PR being accepted

Cons:

  1. Not really the point of the assignment, I should collaborate with relative strangers

Option 2: Bird Hash

Pros:

  1. Existing python repo as a guide
  2. Unlimited testers available at Turing
  3. Integrates my obession with birds/illustration skills

Cons:

  1. Language I don't know (but I could probably build this in Ruby or JS)
  2. Also missing the point of the assignment: collaborating with internet people

Option 3:

Pros: 1.

Cons: 1.
