What would you like to do?
Synology boot locked
Sometimes after a hard reboot (power cut), if your synology cannot be logged in with DSM and it shows "System is getting ready. Please log in later" , please do these steps :
#Admin login via ssh
> synobootseq --set-boot-done
> synobootseq --is-ready
#optional
> /usr/syno/etc/rc.d/S97apache-sys.sh start
> /usr/syno/etc/rc.d/S95sshd.sh start

Had the same problem on an upgrade inside 6.1.7 (not even an bigger one). Problem was the NAS hang on starting services, so Samba Shares were available, but WebStation, MediaStation and so one were not.
Even upgrading to 6.2 didn't change anything (manually so far, auto upgrade didn't find the upgrade yet).

What does work so far for me is installing the Synology Assistant tool for PC, enabling the Memory Check in Options and perform a Memory Check on the device. It hang some time at 99,7% and I thought it was stuck. But later on, it just rebootet and seems to work with all services.
By the way, I guess on upgrade the system didn't beep and I'm not sure if any of the LEDs for disk and so on worked. Since the reboot after Memory check, they blink and the NAS beeped on reboot.
Let's see...

Doc will help you a lot :)

Thank you!
Little problem though; it says connection refused after entering the first line of command. Does that mean I have not enabled SSH services? Because DSM is not available so I can't check that option now..
