Sometimes after a hard reboot (power cut), if your synology cannot be logged in with DSM and it shows "System is getting ready. Please log in later" , please do these steps :
#Admin login via ssh | |
> synobootseq --set-boot-done
> synobootseq --is-ready
#optional | |
> /usr/syno/etc/rc.d/S97apache-sys.sh start
> /usr/syno/etc/rc.d/S95sshd.sh start |

Had the same problem on an upgrade inside 6.1.7 (not even an bigger one). Problem was the NAS hang on starting services, so Samba Shares were available, but WebStation, MediaStation and so one were not. What does work so far for me is installing the Synology Assistant tool for PC, enabling the Memory Check in Options and perform a Memory Check on the device. It hang some time at 99,7% and I thought it was stuck. But later on, it just rebootet and seems to work with all services. |
