EasyCount btl data entry

Data entry guidelines noted down 08/04/2014 at css during WA Senate recount. At each data entry station this guideline was sticky taped to desk.

  • enter two keystrokes per number
    • (ie. 01)
  • if number is illegible
    • ??
  • to key an X * cross
  • to allow one more keystroke in a field
    • [Esc]
      • ie. if the number in the box has 3 digits press [Esc] then enter number
  • If writing is entered press [Esc], then enter the first 3 characters
    • [Esc]
      • eg. Loser, might be entered as Los or A entered as A
