Professional Development Prework

What is your greatest strength and how do you know?

My ability to analyze a problem not only at its present state, but also anticipate future issues and try and pre-plan for them. I have been put in several varied situations where this skill has proven to be key in successful problem resolution. From developing disaster recovery plans to anticipating roadtrip issues, this skill comes in handy everywhere. Also, I spent the last 10 years writing legal briefs and the key to a successful argument is anticipating the rebuttal. It is a skill I work on every day.

How do you work best?

I work best independently, in a location with reduced distractions. No music, no windows, no kids, no phone. In order to do my best work, I will need to prioritize my time away from my other responsibilities and focus on the task at hand.

What is your greatest area of improvement?

Being consciously present in the current task. I have the tendency to take on more than I can manage. Al
