start with door open and unlocked, and use a key that has its transponder programmed to the car to insert into the lock

1. insert and remove key twice within 5s
2. close and open drivers door twice
3. insert and remove key once
4. close and open door twice
5. insert key
6. close door
7. turn ignition on and back to lock
8. remove key

locks should cycle once to indicate mode selection

9. hold lock and unlock buttons simultaneously on the remote for 1-1.5s
10. within 3s press lock for 1s+

if successful locks should cycle once, twice if not successful
