For those who want to self diagnose their up to 08/95 AC system for reading "Actual Values" and "Faults" the following procedure may help: | |
Actual Value Test | |
Turn temp wheel to white area | |
Ignition on | |
Press the R and L auto buttons | |
Within 20 seconds press the REST bitton for more than five seconds | |
The left display will show the component number(1-16) | |
The right display will show value, or Hi or Lo | |
Press the auto button to monitor the next component(there are 16) | |
Press the REST button to end the test | |
Fault Diagnosis | |
Turn the left wheel into the red | |
Turn the right wheel into the blue | |
Ignition on | |
Press the Auto button | |
Within twenty seconds pres the REST and 0 button for more that two sec | |
The left window will show E0 or E1, right window 01 02 03....etc | |
Record each fault number and then press the right Auto button to display the next code......and continue untill END is displayed | |
To erase the faults: Turn the ignition OFF, then turn the ignition ON. Press the left Auto button...A "d" is displayed in the left window. By pressing the right Auto button the fault will be deleted. Alternate between left and right Auto buttons untill all the faults are deleted and an E0 00 is displayed.---------------Good Luck | |
