hi @ryellamr , you asking about use elasticsearch when running in foreground? i guess that is not different for it
On Ubuntu, modify this script and add it as /etc/init.d/elasticsearch
.
Then use cmds - sudo /etc/init.d/elasticsearch start
, sudo /etc/init.d/elasticsearch stop

very helpful post.
once "elasticsearch" is run, this is a foreground process in the terminal.
It would help if you can detail about how to use this in wsl as this is running in foreground.
