question: how to interface intel edison (arduino) with vesc?
teppic makevoid: I think you can control it via pwm (not 100% sure). Probably the easiest alternative.
guess you wanted more control than that though...

makevoid cool | |
thanks for the neat idea
analog to analog | |
I mean pwm is digital reading and writing
I would like to make a crazy thing
basically to make a game where you need to upload a gps track and it will check the vesc for actual power consumption and the map to see if it matches a real map (I don't need to implement this part in the demo, people can actually easily fake the runs and upload plenty of them)
to make a sort of badge-collection challenge basically
a bit like foursquare | |
maybe | |
same gamification | |
because I like EVs in general, we need them because it's the best kind of "fuel" at the moment, especially when taken from renewable sources, I think we'll see a lot of portable EVs like e-skates in the future
and maybe we can get more people into esk8 if we have a game to play doable on an open source piece of electronic
so you need to have it to play, but then you also have a esk8 or another EV
because it runs on it | |
(sorry for bothering with this crazy idea :p I write too much) |
