#Fruit Cake Recipe
##Ingredients
- 1lb Dark Sugar
- 1lb Anchor Butter
- 1lb Flour
- ¼ lb Bread Crumbs
- 2 grated Nutmeg
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon Mixed spice
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 dozen eggse
- 1 lb. Raisins
- 1 lb. Mixed Fruits
- 1 lb. Prunes
- ¼ lb Cherries
- 2 tablespoon Almond
- 2 tablespoon of Vanilla
- Rind of 2 Limes and Fruits
- 1 pint of Wine
- 1 bottle of Browning
- Rum as desired
##Directions
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy gradually beating in eggs. Beat well between each addition. Add blended fruits and wine which were soaked and prepared, to this add vanilla and almond. Sift flour with mixed spice, baking powder and bread crumbs. After this has been sifted add gradually to the mixture. Add browning. Add rum and wine as desired. Pour into a lined baking tin. Bake for 2 hours at 300 degrees Farenheit (149 degrees Celcius) or until knife inserted comes out clean.
