Here is my preferred list of question for a job interview
Can you speak English, French? Examples
What positions have you covered so far? Single developer, leader dev, technician, etc..
When have you received your firts and last high degree (bts in 2000, master 2008, par example)
Explain to me how do you see yourself as a employee and as a tech guy.
Tell me what people have told you about yourself as an employee and as collegue.
What is making you like your job and why you keep working in this industry?
Tell me what are the tasks you like the most and those you dislike (and why)
Biggest and smallest team you ever worked so far.
Advantages and cons of both from you point of view.
What's your preferred team size?
Do you know Linux/Win? How deeply?
RCP? Swing? JavaFX?
Powershell? Git? Bash?
Tell me your last founds? Actors models, concurrency, new technology... does he likes to stay on edge??
Have you ever worked on a open source project? Does he really like to give it to others?
Tell me how you organize your work? Pragmatic?
Have you worked on Agile? Tell me how it worked for you and how you would improve it given the occasion.
Given the following scenario, FULLY WELL DONE is more important then DELIVER ON TIME: which one? why?
Your definition of DONE: tested (unit) [everybody], agreed to the specification [not bad], [did he mentioned: documentation? profiling? maintenance? readibility?]
Number of lines to implement in production a basic rest service: tell me your thougth all time long.
Did he tought about unit tests ? (confirm or not preceeding intentions)
Did he mentionned unexpected delays if deploy does not depends on him ? (does he thinks about he is not all alone in the daily work)
Given these profiles, your highest desired and lowest and why
Optimization, Specifications, Quality, Stabilizations, Integration, Testing, Developing
