Searching for: trip to Canary Islands for 22-28 days in January, 4-6 people, 4 rooms.
Gran Canaria is the third largest island.
Flight: ±130 eur (Ryanair, Easyjet, Vueling), dates flexible, flies to Las Palmas
Accommodation:
- Chalet Ecowine, € 164/night (~32 eur per person, ~1050 per person for whole trip). Has pool, but is not by the sea, supermarket in walking distance.
- The Orange House, € 141/night (~28 eur per person, ~950 per person for whole trip). Has pool, but is not by the sea.
- Entire home hosted by May € 90/night (~18 eur per person, ~750 per person for whole trip). In the main city. 6 bedrooms. Doesn't look that nice. No pool.
Tenerife is the largest and most populated island.
Flight: ±150 eur (Ryanir, Easyjet), dates flexible, flies to Santa Cruz de Tenerife
Accommodation:
- Oceanfront cozzy house. Direct access to the beach, € 160/night (~32 eur per person, ~1050 per person for whole trip). By the sea, looks pretty nice.
- Spectacular ocean view house, € 105/night (~20 eur per person, ~840 per person for whole trip). By the sea, slightly less nice, still pretty good though.
Lanzarote is the least traveled-to island of them but has Thimanfaya National Park as one of its main attractions.
Flight: ±120 eur (Easyjet), date flexible, fliws to Arrecife
Accommodation:
- Chafari Garden, € 164/night (~32 eur per person, ~1050 per person for whole trip). Very cozy, specious and from pictures looks the most work-friendly. Sea in a walking distance.
- Lanzarote has the least options of accommodation and seems slightly more expensive, on the other hand should be the least "turristic"
- Tenerife and Gran Canaria are both have more forestation and are greener. Although, Lanzarote has also its charm with the distinctive volcanic look.
- Tenerife is the largest island with most things to see and do.
- The flight prices seem pretty good to all the Islands and the availability is great.
- Acommodation doesn't seem to be an issue on neither of the islands, although depends on the budget. Finding something at 1000eur / person for whole month seems to be a breeze. The lower the budget the harder it is to find something that would meet the criteria (especially the separate rooms and enough space for working) - insert shocked pikatchu face. I don't think <700-800 is doable if we want to have comfort there.
