includes Ovi-branded services such as maps, music, games, social | |

services and software can be used on PCs, online or on mobile devices, | |
distributed independently or embedded in devices and monetized through | |
multiple business models: transaction, subscription, and/or | |

responsibility to define and drive these experiences holistically for | |
mobile and beyond to create an engaging, delightful and competitive | |
offering of ovi to the market across services and platforms. | |
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Web Designer who can help | |
shape the future of mobile user experience. The role is a hands on user | |
experience and design work, you will need to understand the mobile and | |
web 2.0 paradigms and be able to work within limitations whilst at the | |
same time find opportunities to innovate. You will need to convince | |
various stakeholders of your solutions. You will be responsible for | |
defining interaction patterns and behaviors for complex mobile and | |
cross platform applications and for their execution either delivering | |
screen designs as well as css and basic js code. Up to date usability | |
principles and the ability to work in an agile product development | |
environment are key. You will be passionate about meeting our users | |
needs and will strive to ensure we are working to a user-centered | |
design process. As part of an interdisciplinary design and development | |
team, you will specify, develop, test, verify and constantly improve | |
your designs, creating the guidelines for Nokia's platform for ovi | |
experience. | |
Qualifications | |
- You can precisely articulate, reason, document, communicate and | |
present your design ideas in written and spoken English | |
- You can work iteratively and within the dimensions of agile software | |
development processes and work with programmers and product owners | |
- You develop interaction paradigms for different devices and use cases | |
and illustrate them with high-level flow charts and prototypes | |
- You have experience of working to user centered design principles | |
- You are experienced in defining user research goals and coordinating | |
testing | |
- You are analytical and can work with data (user/business) to define | |
your solutions | |
- You have experience in designing a variety of mobile interfaces | |
- You are familiar in basic css/java script/html 5, (basic) Flash, | |
InDesign and/or Illustrator, Visio, OmniGraffle, and Photoshop | |
- You are able to efficiently structure and communicate your work with | |
tools such as Excel, Powerpoint and Word |
