mjbrender:vagrant-gswd mjbrender$ vagrant status
Current machine states:
default not created (virtualbox)
The environment has not yet been created. Run `vagrant up` to
create the environment. If a machine is not created, only the
default provider will be shown. So if a provider is not listed,
then the machine is not created for that environment.

[default] The guest additions on this VM do not match the installed version of
VirtualBox! In most cases this is fine, but in rare cases it can
prevent things such as shared folders from working properly. If you see
shared folder errors, please make sure the guest additions within the
virtual machine match the version of VirtualBox you have installed on
your host and reload your VM.

SSL validation of HTTPS requests is disabled. HTTPS connections are still
encrypted, but chef is not able to detect forged replies or man in the middle
attacks.
To fix this issue add an entry like this to your configuration file:
```
# Verify all HTTPS connections (recommended)
ssl_verify_mode :verify_peer
# OR, Verify only connections to chef-server
verify_api_cert true
```
To check your SSL configuration, or troubleshoot errors, you can use the
`knife ssl check` command like so:
```
knife ssl check -c /tmp/vagrant-chef-1/solo.rb
```
