1. From another laptop, download the El Capitan installer.
2. Erase MacBook Air.
3. Copy El Capitan installer.
4. [Todo]: Add the Waterfox workaround.
1. Download the latest 5X.Y.Z Waterfox browser on a different machine.

2. Copy the Waterfox installer from your laptop to a flashdrive.
3. Copy from Waterfox installer from flashdrive to MacBook Air.
4. Install Waterfox browser.
5. Install Mac OS X El Capitan version 10.11 installer.

6. Install El Capitan (with the installer).
7. Install macOS Big Sur version 11.
