This is a list of random junk which I'm looking for, for various projects. In the spirit of http://uk.freecycle.org/, I like to recycle things where I can. I also have a box of odds and ends, so if you're looking for something electrical or mechanical, let me know as I might have it :)
- Fire extinguisher/air tank
- Doesn't have to work, but should be airtight
- Ideally not a CO2 extinguisher
- To be used as a 100psi air compression chamber
- Doesn't have to work, but should be airtight
- Arc welder/welding supplies
- For welding steel, etc.
- Fishing rod
- For use as a portable antenna mast
- USB WiFi adapters
- Must have an external antenna connection
- Ideally compatible with a recent ARM linux kernel
- Bike brake pads
- For my FreeCycle bike
- Electronic igniter/spark source
- Could be a Piezo Igniter from a BBQ, cooker or lighter
- Could also be a disposable camera flash (I can give you the film intact)
- Will possibly be used to make a pie cannon
- You can play with the pie cannon
- Lighting gels
- Offcuts for photography/party lighting
- Storage box with lid
- Must be weatherproofable
- Minimum dimensions 50x30x20cm
I will almost certainly use these items for the good of other people, and/or to teach new skills. If you can help me with any of them, I'll be super grateful :)
