Spanish translation notes for Diffux

###Steps###

  • I forked the repo.
  • Add the original repo as an origin git remote add upstream https://github.com/diffux/diffux.git
  • Check that the origin is now right with git remote -v
  • Create a new branch git checkout -b spanish_translation
  • Install libraries, and gems and create the database following the guide from the repo.
  • I renamed database.yml.example to database.yml to be sure that I wasn't breaking things.
  • I tried to run the tests but I couldn't figure it out how to make them pass, so I worked without tests (I know, I know...)
  • I duplicated config > locales > en.yml and renamed it according to the ISO 639-1 two letter language code for Spanish.
  • I created a new branch locally, and pushed that to Github once done with the translation, then I did a pul request on the original repo.

###Doubts & considerations###

  • I tried to use an informal language, like the one they used on the original version in english. _ I translated every term but email, everyone knows what an email is, (at least everyone using Diffux should)
  • I doubted about translating viewport or not, finally I translated it as 'screen size' in spanish, but I'm open to changing it back.
  • I also have doubts with deploy, there are lots of doubts about how to translate that word into spanish, so I left it in english, suggestions are welcome, but I think translating this would be confusing.
  • I went with depuración for debug, but still not 100% sold on this.
  • If you have any suggestion or caught some typo, you can contact me on Twitter
