Dell Display Manager
==============================================

Support Mac:
Mac 2018 or above.

Support OS:
macOS 10.14 or above.

Setting Up:
Connect your Mac to monitor by display cable or USB 
upstream cable. Dell Display Manager uses DDC/CI 
channel to communicate with your monitor. Ensure DDC/CI 
is enabled in the monitor On-Screen Display (OSD) menu.

Grant Security Permission: 
- Requires ScreenCapture privacy permission to allow 
Dell Display Manager to record the contents of your 
screen, even while using other apps.
- Requires Accessibility privacy permission to allow
Dell Display Manager to access and control your Mac
through accessibility features.

Troubleshooting:
If Dell Display Manager is unable to detect and/or 
communicate with a supported Dell monitor, please take 
following actions to troubleshoot:
- Make sure the video cable or USB upstream cable is properly 
connected to your monitor and your computer. Ensure all the 
connectors are firmly inserted into the ports.
- If connecting HDMI cable not working, switch to use HDMI 
and USB upstream cable. Launch DDM again.
- Check the monitor OSD to ensure DDC/CI is enabled.

Input Manager
-----------------------------------------------
The Input Manager tab provides convenient ways for you to 
manage multiple video inputs connected to your Dell monitor. 
This makes it very easy to switch between inputs while you 
work with multiple computers.

Easy Arrange
-----------------------------------------------
Easy Arrange tab simplifies the applications window organization 
on the monitor.

Window Snap
-----------------------------------------------
Application Window Snap is designed to enable application placement 
on any screen quickly. When the application is on the connected 
monitor, dragging the application triggers easy arrange flyout menu, 
you can drop the application to any of the recently used layout quickly.

Auto Mode
-----------------------------------------------
Dell Display Manager automatically switches to the corresponding 
Preset Mode whenever the associated application is activated.

Shortcut Key
-----------------------------------------------
Enable combo keys to make actions such as calling up DDM, Easy Arrange, 
Window Snap, Favorite input...etc.

Power Nap
-----------------------------------------------
You can choose to set the brightness of the monitor to the minimum level, 
or to put the monitor to sleep when the screen saver is activated.
