Discription

Lucid chart is a web based diagramming tool. It is cheap with a cost of just under £10. covers all the types of UML diagrams

Strengths:

  • Full coverage of the UML diagram types
  • Collaborative features enabling groups to work together
  • viso import tools
  • sequence diagram markup language and diagram generator

Weaknesses

  • less modeling more diagramming, so its a bit generic
  • User stories can be done, but its more of a hack with text boxes
  • Unable to export models as code to enable speedy development
    • this is due to the fact that it requires you to manually type and format the attributes and methods

Overall

its ok for a quick diagramming tool. 6/10
