Sync personal/custom Spotify music to Apple iPhone

Sync Local Files from PC to Spotify iOS app

** Warning **

  • Ensure connected to same wifi network as computer

On PC

Enabling in Settings

  • Go to Local Files in Settings and ensure "Show Local Files" is enabled.
  • Ensure under Show songs from that the correct directory is added. If not, add the directory under "Add A Source".

Creating the playlist/adding the songs

  • Create a generic playlist. Ex. "Local Files from PC".
  • Go to your Local Files in the left sidebar under Your Library. Add the songs to the "Local Files from PC" playlist.

On the iOS device

Syncing the songs to the device

  • Go to Settings, click "Local Files", enable "Local audio files".
  • Go to the "Local Files from PC" playlist, in the top left there should be a "Download" button. Download the songs. It should display a green "Down" arrow.
  • TIP: If the files aren't displaying in the playlist. Either double check the network. Also it may restarting the Spotify app
