Steps to reproduce

  1. Download and Install Google Japanese Input
  2. Add Google Japanese Input keyboard layout
  3. Open Windows Terminal
  4. Switch to Japanese
  5. Type aiueo

Expected Behavior

The input mode is Direct Input

Actual Behavior

The input mode of Google Japanese Input becomes half-width alphanumeric
