Employees of popular companies for the It Gets Better project
Employees of several high-profile companies made videos with the message of hope to LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual, queer) youth. For some reason, however, they didn't post it to their official channels on YouTube.
- Pixar video was posted on the PixGetsBetter (1 video total) instead of the DisneyPixar channel,
- Google video was added to betterintech (6 videos total) instead of the Google channel,
- Apple video is on the AppleEmployees (1 video total) instead of the Apple channel,
- Adobe video was posted on the AdobeItGetsBetter channel (1 video total), but it appears there's no official channel for Adobe.
All these unofficial channels were created for the sole purpose of posting these videos.
While it's possible that the videos are independent projects by employees and not necessarily endorsed by their companies, the fact that they were completely anonymously posted on unofficial channels doesn't give them much credibility. Some link to The Trevor Project, a completely uninformative site if you don't follow any of the sublinks, but most provide absolutely no information as to who actually made the videos. Google has the only video where employees actually introduce themselves.
Facebook was the only company that endorsed their video by adding it to theofficialfacebook, their official channel.
All the videos are pretty good. Watch them, if only one (they're not much different).
