Moved to git repository: https://github.com/denji/nginx-tuning
For this configuration you can use web server you like, i decided, because i work mostly with it to use nginx.
Generally, properly configured nginx can handle up to 400K to 500K requests per second (clustered), most what i saw is 50K to 80K (non-clustered) requests per second and 30% CPU load, course, this was 2 x Intel Xeon
with HyperThreading enabled, but it can work without problem on slower machines.
You must understand that this config is used in testing environment and not in production so you will need to find a way to implement most of those features best possible for your servers.

Instructions for setting up a git server on a Synology NAS with Diskstation. Specifically, I am using a DS414 with DSM 5.0.
- Create user
gituser
via Diskstation interface (with File Station and WebDAV privilages) - Add new shared folder called
git
(located at/volume1/git
) with read/write access forgituser
andadmin
. This folder will hold all the repos. - Install Git Server package via Diskstation
Branch A has commits (X,Y) that also need to be in Branch B. The cherry-pick operations should be done in the same chronological order that the commits appear in Branch A.
cherry-pick
does support a range of commits, but if you have merge commits in that range, it gets really complicated
git checkout branch-B
git cherry-pick X
git cherry-pick Y
