Ooooh :) Thanks! Yeah I forgot you used hotcocoa!
I installed macruby 10 and the main hotcocoa release hasn't been maintained in ages. My concern is that they wouldn't be compatible. Also, I heard that the old hotcocoa had some bugs so I'm trying to get the latest maintained version working on my machine.
The guy who maintains the freshest branch of hotcocoa actually replied to my email right away. It turns out that since I'm using rvm I should install macruby under rvm.. which I didn't... So I'll give that a shot and if it doesn't work I guess I'll have to use the gem.

Hotcocoa is great, but be warned that last time I checked there were a bunch
of features that weren't implemented... So you'll have to tread with care!
Let me know what the new branch of Hotcocoa is like, if it's really good I
would definitely be interested in trying it again!
