Most Airdrops are giving free money to people who already have a lot of money. People at the bottom of the ladder, just stay there.
Many of the large wallets already had large osmo and juno drops. People who are new to cosmos (from October 2021) all bough in at ATH's and many could not afford to load more Atoms or any other coins, because when the snapshot was announced, these people were 60 to 80% down on their investment and still are.

And yet still support the network one way or another with the little bits they have or can do.
1 of my remarks was and I also written a medium article about that.

When Samwang post the token plan in discord, I asked to add another TODO to the list

I'd like to see another
TODO figure out how/whether to implement a whalecap and/or a % reduction in favour of wealth redistribution

That was dismissed by Samwang, saying people would have to vote on that.
Other asked me on how it could be done.

After giving an example, someone told me I tried reinventing the wheel because there's plenty of fair drops already

I replied

if there's no cap or tier, it will make the same Atom whales into Gno whales
It depends what people see as "fair", I'm in favour of wealth redistribution.
This is about an airdrop, not about people buying/investing that become whales. There's nothing wrong with being a whale or rich person, it's about them receiving more because they already have more.

I don't know how many tokens will be dropped or how many Atoms are eligible
But for easy explanation, imagine it's the same and it would be 1:1 like Juno was.
Now let's change that in tiers.
For the first 500 atom in a wallet, you can make it 2:1
between 500 & 2000, you can make it 1:1
Above 2000 you make it 0.5:1
Above 10000 you make it 0.1:1
No extra snapshots anymore of course

Personally I would go much further and put a cap at 500 so even the poorest people who can only afford 5 atom, still get a large airdrop, but that's just me.

I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel, people ask how it could be done and I'm giving an example. Like I said, it depends what people see as "fair". I haven't seen an airdrop where the poor Asian person making t-shirts in a sweatshop would benefit proportionally more than the dev in America wearing the t-shirt.

Agree with OiNation (or OiKeii 🤔 ). We should think over about distribution of GNO in more proper and fair way

#46 undelegated all their tokens after the airdrop and are now not staking 1 single one of them anymore

#47 never ever voted before, except no on prop69, clearly to receive the airdrop but doesn't care about governance

#48 has 0 atoms and not even a tx history on mintscan

I think what you wrote must be in another way — take what OiNation suggested and multiply to X if wallet voted NoWithVeto.
For example:
For the first 500 atom in a wallet, you can make it 2:1, but if you voted NoWithVeto you can make 2.2:1 (just an example)
Between 500 & 2000, you can make it 1.1:1
And etc

@moul I know you're busy but twitter and the discord is full of messages claiming that Binance would receive 40 million $Gnot because the Disperze team made a $Gnot airdrop checker.

I checked some of the last addresses in this list some time ago and posted some remarks already.
I don't know if some addresses are bot eligible or what the requirements would be for them not to receive an airdrop but I can check them all if you you want me too.
