## Nuke Salad
Once upon a time there was a three legged deer. Every day the deer drank from the burn beside the tower.

Every morning without fail as he lapped at the refreshing water, arrows would fly past his ears.

The east bank rabbits and the west bank hares had been battling for centuries.

They both sought the same carrots in between the two banks. It was known as The Battle for Middle Orange Things.

A faction of hares were selectively breeding for short ears and fluffy tails - hoping to eventually infiltrate the rabbits.

Meanwhile the rabbits had taken an entirely different approach. Their new lettuce enhanced nuclear weapons programme was nearing it’s testing phase.

It used a novel approach, focussing osmotic pressure through a chain of micellar arrays within the lettuce heart to compress uranium salts.

The Hare's Special Tails and Tactics group known as STAT was ready to go.

As they leave, the build up of uranium-233 within the lettuce approaches critical levels. A mere tap could initiate fission.

They tried adding Caesar Dressing Coolant but it just boiled away. On the other bank, the STAT team were making their way across under cover of darkness.

The STAT team stopped in their tracks as they heard screams of "EAT THE CORE" and "SHE'S GONNA BLOW" echoing over the water

For a brief second their was a blinding flash, as the fur, skin and then muscle was vaporised from every Rabbit and Hare in a 200 meter radius.

Hours later the three legged deer returned.

As she drank she heard tiny underground baby rabbit voices squeaking 'mummy… mummy… … mummy?'
