Julio Avila: Software Developer Bio - TEMPLATE
Hi! Nestor Barboza is a friend of mine and he commented me about dOrg.
I’m a software developer and have been working with blockchain technology since 2013. I have experience with mining algorithms, qt wallets, mobile apps, APIs, web3, solidity, and high-frequency data platforms like exchanges and cryptocurrency trading simulators.
I own a Martech agency called The Nerd Cat, where I develop custom solutions for corporations to help them improve their internal processes and lead to better marketing and sales. I have worked with fortune 500 companies like Kia Motors, and other important corporations like Plumrose/Oscar Mayer.
For the past 4 years, until last November, I was CTO at Coins2Learn, a free cryptocurrency simulator that used real-time data to allow newcomers and experts to learn, test strategies, generate income with a play to earn model, and copying the transactions of the best traders in the platform. Coins2Learn is now closed, but I shared a link in the projects list where you can see how the platform worked.
This year I participated in the NFTHack competition at ETHGlobal (https://nft.ethglobal.com/ 2) and won the first place in my category by coding a WordPress plugin that interacted with the SupeRrare API for allowing bloggers to add any art from SuperRare in their posts, and that way serve as a way of backlink generation for SuperRare.
Recently, I have been helping to develop a project called beanstalk (https://bnbeanstalk.com/ 2), a Web3 platform to certify new crypto projects by using the Experian services to conduct KYC to the devs, and real-time connection with the bsc blockchain to audit and monitor the tokens of these projects.
I have also been helping Moonarch (https://moonarch.app/ 2) with their marketing strategy.
I’m currently looking for new opportunities in the crypto scene, and I would love to become part of dOrg.
I don’t have a personal GitHub repo because most of the projects I have worked on in the past 8 years were developed in private repos on bitbucket and azure DevOps, The only public repo I have is the one I used for the NFTconnect competition.
I’m thinking to create a demo code that I could use to showcase my skills on a GitHub repo. Nestor commented me about the activation challenge, and I wanted to ask you guys what kind of web3 code could be a good way to show you I am able to do the kind of coding that you do at dOrg. I have in mind building a demo of an NFT marketplace or an audit platform for smart contracts. Please, let me know your thoughts.
Looking forward to work with you,
Fernando Torres
