I had to change:

MOVE h5_attribute.exe %PREFIX%\prog.exe

and

call %PREFIX%\prog.exe

To:

MOVE h5_attribute.exe.* %PREFIX%\
call %PREFIX%\h5_attribute.exe

Otherwise vs2008 kept throwing R6034
