Meteor Toys

Meteor Toys are a set of development packages made specially for Meteor, created as a solution to my own needs and development frustrations. On the first level is the open source Mongol and JetSetter. These two packages let you view and edit your MongoDB documents and Session variables in a visually instead the typing commands in the console. As of writing, both are quickly rising through Meteor's top 100 packages. On the second level are Meteor Toys, which extend Mongol and JetSetter, provide an additional set of convenient tools, and are the first paid package for Meteor.

Using GitHub Gist for Blogging

Using GitHub Gist for Blogging

It just occurred to me that GitHub Gist can be great for blogging. They keep a revision history, which encourages you to make make updates to a post while making those changes transparent to your readers. They also support Markdown, making it easy to read and write them. And finally, there is commenting system is exclusive to GitHub users, which I hope can be a good filter for constructive comments.

What do you think - does a blogging solution built on top of GitHub Gist sound interesting to you?
