Pretzel Rocks 11/24/2020 Changelog

  • Fixed media keys and global hot key issues
  • Search had a complete overhaul, you can now search for all of the things.
  • We are currently migrating likes, dislikes and playlists from the legacy player into the new player.
    • Just a heads up, some tracks (around 1K) from Legacy did not carry over into the new player. So they will be removed from playlists upon import.
  • Added support for Playlists
    • Premium only
    • Currently only supports shuffled playback.
    • We are planning on adding linear playback, repeat and other playback modes in the near future.
  • Track List respects filters in realtime. As you change your filters, you will see tracks be grayed out if they don't match your criteria.
    • Quick Note: We're in the process of exporting a much improved data set from tracks that existed in the legacy player. For example, not all Argofox tracks have vocals, however if you turn on the instrumental filter everything will be omitted. This is incorrect, it's an issue with the data and will be fixed this week.
  • Added Segment Pages
    • Individual pages for Artists, Albums, Labels, and Playlists
    • Clicking on a segment name anywhere in the player will now open the segment page.
    • Segment pages can be shared.
  • Added Back and Forward buttons to make navigation easier between segment pages.
  • Removed Google Login from the desktop version.
    • This requires a complete re-write of the login system which we couldn't get done in time for this release. It will be back in the future. In the meantime you will need to link a Twitch account to be able to login from the desktop.
  • Chat notification settings have been re-enabled. Mandatory Twitch chat delivery will be re-enabled later today.
  • Affirmations will now update daily.
  • Added new !song command API. https://help.pretzel.rocks/how-do-i-create-a-song-command-for-my-bot
  • Twitch live stream online and offline detection has been vastly improved. Previously it could take 10-20 minutes for Pretzel to detect when you go live. Now we do it in 1-2 minutes.
  • Fixed a bug when liking tracks, the order of a track list would change.
  • Added version number to the General Settings

The filters are not working very well. I tried them on Pretzel Station and they couldn't find any song? 🤔
I want instrumentals and YouTube Safe. But actually, this isn't possible.
Also there is no way to close the Pop up. I tried it with click somewhere in the Program and also tried ESC on Keyboard. Only way is to close Pretzel Beta complete.
