| Hi, nalexander, Android Sync developer here. I'm not sure why you're having to setup Sync multiple times with Nightly -- I've opened https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=768102 and we'll investigate this further. As for why multiple versions, the short answer is "because Android is not desigend to support multiple concurrent versions of the same App". The long answer is being tracked at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=761206. We expect to support multiple versions Real Soon Now -- hopefully this will hit Nightly in the next few weeks. It's likely you'll have to enter your Sync account information for each version (at least at first, and hopefully only once per version!) but we think we've found a way to have multiple versions co-exist and sync independently. Thanks for using Sync and sorry that we're making you type endless codes on Nightly! |
