Updating related models Laravel 4

If you need to save/update related models, Laravel 4 makes it simple.

Let's stick to model organization presented in https://gist.github.com/ndamnjanovic/7197582.

If you now need to create/update Task, and related Models as well (Checklist, ChecklistItem),
you can do it like this, nice and simple:

$savedTask = Task::create($task);

foreach ($checklists as $checklist){
    $checklistObject = new TaskChecklist($checklist);
    $savedChecklist = $savedTask->checklists()->save($checklistObject);
    foreach($checklist['items'] as $item){
        $itemObject = new TaskChecklistItem($item);
        $savedChecklist->items()->save($itemObject);
    }
}

Note: variable $task is an array that holds array of checklists, 
      where every checklist holds an array of associated items. 
      You need to have model defined as in previous example, specified on the top.
      
Maybe there is even better way, so we can avoid this loops, and creation of the objects.
