How to not get lost when entering Switzerland

Arrival at Zurich Airport

You will arrive at Zurich Airport (ZRH) and after you get your luggage and immigration is done, you'll finally be in Switzerland. Congrats and welcome!

The train station aka Zürich Flughafen

Luckily for you, the train station is inside the airport (downstairs). Just follow the signage that looks like this:

Next you'll need to buy a ticket at either from a human or a machine:

The ticket you'll need:

• From: Zürich Flughafen
• To: Zürich Hardbrücke
• Via: Direkt (when you catch the right train, no need to go through Zürich HB)
• Second Class
• Adult 1/1

Which train should you catch?

It's best to go with S16 (train name) heading towards Herrliberg-Feldmeilen. This train always runs at hh:02 and hh:32 from platform 3. After you bought your ticket, you'll take the elevator to the platform a level further down.

Arrival at Zürich Hardbrücke

You'll probably arrive on platform 2. So simply follow this map to the hotel next to Technopark.

If everything goes wrong

Stay calm and tweet or call Noel or Silvan.

Apparently not every train leaving from platform stops at Hardbrücke stop :) I overshot to the central station. No idea how to distinguish trains since no displays or something on the platform (or I missed them).
