I've been trying different smoothies and so far this one is my favorite. Try to use all organic products if you can. | |

2 cups baby spinach | |
1 cup of frozen berries (strawberry, blueberries, raspberries) | |
1 banana | |
1/4 cup plain non-fat or low-fat yogurt | |
1/4 cup of uncooked oatmeal | |
1 cup of apple juice</ul> | |
Put the spinach in the blender first and add the frozen berries and apple juice. If you are using a regular blender, you may need to take a spoon and push the berries and spinach down to start it blending. I will push with a spoon and then pulse the blender and then push with the spoon again. It's best to pulse and then push with the spoon while the blender is off. Add all the rest of the ingredients, blend and serve. Keep the extra in the blender in the fridge. |
