There's a few things I noticed in my line of work, that they don't teach you in the academy.

First... The smell. No aircondition in the interrogation room, and the air is as stale as the weather outside.

Second, being in the room with a person that might be a cold-blooded killer,
is not something that brings up the best icebreakers.

Third, words are fickle. If you don't say the right things at the right time, you might as well throw your casefiles out the window.

And last... Everybody lies.

My job is to see past the lies and the filth, and catch whoever the true killer is...

So pull up a chair, we are going to be here for as long as it takes...
