1. docker 로 배포되어 있는 잘쓰던 mariadb 개발용 컨테이너가 있었다.
2. DataGrip, Python PyMySQL 등으로는 아무렇지 않게 접속되나 mysql2 패키지로는 접속이 안되었다.
3. mariadb docker 서비스 로그를 보니 
[Warning] Aborted connection 49 to db: 'unconnected' user: 'unauthenticated' host: '172.17.0.1' (This connection closed normally without authentication)
[Warning] IP address '172.17.0.1' could not be resolved: Temporary failure in name resolution
라고 하였다.
4. mariadb.cnf 를 열어
```skip_name_resolve```
를 넣고 mariadb를 재시작해주었다.
