Logistics Update

Dates (July 1st-5th)

  • Check-in begins 5pm on July 1st
  • Check-out before our round on the morning of July 5th
  • First round of the Pure Cup is 9am @ The Highlands on the 2nd

Package

  • Staying at Disciples Ridge Loft Condos
    • 1 king bed, 6 queens, 1 trundle bed
    • includes 2 kitchens, 2 living areas, 4 full baths, washer & dryer, wifi, pool access
  • Package includes unlimited golf and practice on each day following a night’s stay (the premium courses require an upcharge)

Tee Times

  • Since we have unlimited golf, we can book free twilight nines during the week as fun mini-competitions/scrambles/etc
  • Format of the tourney is TBD, so it is possible not all of these rounds will be a part of the Pure Cup, some may be just for fun.

July 1st: Commish is looking into playing Belvedere in Charlevoix before checking in at Boyne that night for anyone who wants to play it. Will not be part of the Pure Cup. Details TBD.

July 2nd: 9am @ The Highlands (Heather)

July 2nd: 2:30pm @ The Highlands (Arthur Hills)

July 3rd: 10am @ The Highlands (Donald Ross Memorial)

July 3rd: 4pm @ Boyne Mountain (Monument)

July 4th: 9am @ Bay Harbor (Links/Quarry)

July 4th: 2:30pm @ Crooked Tree

July 5th: 10:10am @ The Highlands (Moor)

Fees

  • Total Package Price: $8230
  • Package Fee per guy (7 guys): $1175
  • Premium tee time upcharge per person: $184
  • Final Price Per Person Due on Check-In: $1359
    • already paid $100 deposits which will count towards rate
    • this rate includes all taxes and resort fees

Important Notes

  • You must have a USGA handicap with multiple rounds posted from 2023 by the time the trip comes. Since we have a wide variety of skill levels in this group, it is the only way to make this a fair competition.
    • I would suggest you have one ready to go by April; which is when posting opens up for MI
    • if you don’t have one and aren’t sure how to get one, reach out to me or Ryan
  • CANCELLING: If for some reason we decide we need to cancel this Pure Cup trip, we have until June 17th to cancel and get a full refund
    • if you think you can’t make it, please let us know ASAP so the rest of the group can decide if we are going to try and fill your spot or cancel. The package price is set, it is not per person. So the rate will be split up among the attending players no matter how many go
    • This also means that if we find an 8th player, the final price will go down by ~$100 per guy
