- My favourite Bacalhau (salt cod) dishes
- Bacalhau à brás (eggs, matchstick potatoes, onions, topped with black olives, all scrambled: a delicious mess)
- Bacalhau com broa (baked with corn bread and collard greens, usually garlicky)
- Amêijoas (clams) à Bolhão Pato
- Arroz de marisco (Seafood rice)
- Açorda de marisco (looks weird, tastes great!)

- Carne de porco à Alentejana (pork with clams and potatoes, sort of fried)
- Pica-pau (tapas dish, beef and pickles)
- Secretos de porco preto (pork meat, from a special pork breed. usually barbecued)

- Pasteis de Bacalhau (fried salted cod cakes)
