Job description for Senior Developer

Requirement

  • Minimum 3 years development experience
  • Well versed in PHP, Node JS, and query languages e.g MySQL, Postgres
  • Follow development best practices
  • Experienced in MVC frameworks e.g Laravel, Yii2
  • Experienced in e-commerce development or similar
  • Experienced in managing project
  • Experienced in leading an engineering team
  • DevOps experience is a bonus

Scope

  • Propose architecture/engineering solution
  • Migrating our monolith ecosystem into microservice architecture
  • Plan on the epic journey
  • Prepare development environment, conventions and other rules for a service
  • Not necessarily on PHP
  • CI/CD
  • Delegate technical tasks to other developers
  • Perfomance tuning, quality assurance

Our Stack (Legacy)

  • Backend on Yii 1.x and Yii 2.x
  • MariaDB and Postgres
  • All infra on AWS (EC2, RDS, Elasticache and more)
